Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the FTL Automation website (ftlservices.com.au) and the Windows desktop software (“FTL Automation”, “the Service”). By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
FTL Automation is desktop software that helps you find invoice and purchase-order emails, download PDF attachments, extract business fields, and save results locally on your computer. Mailbox connections (Microsoft, Google/Gmail, or IMAP) are authorised by you and processed on your PC.
2. Accounts and licences
Access may require an activation key or subscription obtained through our checkout. Licences are for your organisation’s authorised use as described at purchase. You must keep activation keys confidential and not resell or publicly redistribute the installer except as we allow.
3. Acceptable use
- Use the Service only with mailboxes and data you are authorised to access
- Do not reverse engineer, abuse, or disrupt the Service or related systems
- Comply with Microsoft, Google, and other provider terms for any connected accounts
- Comply with applicable Australian privacy and spam laws
4. Your data
Email content, PDFs, and Excel outputs created by the desktop app remain on your computer under your control. Our handling of website and purchase information is described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Third-party services
Payments may be processed by Stripe. Sign-in may use Microsoft or Google OAuth. Their terms and privacy policies apply to those services. We are not responsible for outages or policy changes by those providers.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, branding, and site content are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited licence to use the software as purchased, not ownership of the underlying IP.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided on an “as is” basis. Extraction accuracy depends on email and PDF formats; you should review outputs before relying on them for accounting or payments. To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, we exclude warranties that are not required by law.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or data loss arising from use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for a claim is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you cannot waive under Australian Consumer Law.
9. Subscriptions and refunds
Paid plans renew as described at checkout unless cancelled according to the process we provide. Refund requests are handled case-by-case in line with Australian Consumer Law and our support policy. Contact hello@ftlautomation.com.au.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms, except where notice or consent is required by law.
